WW1 Officers Photo Group with Poignant Condolence Letter on Loss of Son.

This little lot turned up recently at a local flee market so i presume the Young officer and his officer father where from the surrounding area. The young officer would appear to have been in the Artillery and from the photos came from a well to do family. Hensoldt Marine Dialyt 8X Binoculars.

In very good condition with a straight body and complete leather cover, some wear to the surface, no lifting. The focus is clear and sharp, focus ring tight as is the central bar. The original leather case has lots of wear and part of its carry strap but im sorry to say the case is missing its lid.  read more

WW2 German Packaged ''Sieg Heil'' Cardboard Bunting.

This is an item used by patriotic sympathiser's in the 1930's during NSDAP events and purchased at local shops etc even newsagents. I have had to open the end for you, never opened till today, to see the actual bunting inside. WW2 British No4 MKIII Bayonet. Joseph Lucas.

nice example of the crude manufactured MKIII produced by the firm Joseph Lucas, even the paint finish is very crude! The only stamps to be found is the remains of M158 on top of the socket area. The scabbard is a very clean, dent free, MKI example. Around 196,000 MKIII where produced.

WW2 British No4 MKII Bayonet. Singer.

Tan painted example with some very faint markings seen under the paint finish, i can make out a large N67 making this bayonet manufactured by the Singer company. The MK1 scabbard has one minor dent only.
