WW1 Machine Gun Company Medal Pair and Wound Certificate. Welsh Regiment.

Medals are stamped ...59748 PTE, V.E.BOSWELL M.G.C. matching the details to the large certificate issued to soldiers who where wounded and sent home from the front. German WW2 Propaganda North Africa British Peppiatt Banknote Drop Leaflet.

In very nice condition with Arabic message on the reverse. Apparently the Germans believed that dropping these leaflets with a facsimile of a British Pound note would not be left on the floor but would bound to be picked up. This example is known as the first pattern. Evidence suggest these leaflets where dropped by the Luftwaffe over North Africa in 1942.  read more

Burma Medal Group. 2nd Lieutenant J.C.Banks, Indian Army.

This group was found together with a very nice sand cast brass Officers RIASC cap badge painted in bronze and a small 1923 dated silver prize badge named to J.C.M.Banks who was an Emergency Commission officer who served in the Indian Army. All items are in good condition.  read more

8 x POW Camp Photos. Stalag 18A, Niklansdorf, Austria.

1916 Dated 1907 Pattern Bayonet with 1918 Dated 08 Pattern Frog.

This is one of the best condition sets ive recently been able to add to the site and both appear to have been together for a considerable amount of time. The Sanderson marked blade has close to 100% of its factory finish including its factory cutting edge, partly struck George V crown with a 1916 date to the blued ricasso. WW1 Map Case with 1918 Dated ''Second Army MT Circuits'' Map. 4th Battle of Ypres.

This map case and map was purchased last week from a family member of the original owner. The case itself is in well used and grubby condition as expected from one used at the front with one of the hanging straps gone, all fixing poppers in working order and both inside plastic sleeves without cracks etc. Owners initials to the front.
