This example was used by Guardsman Philip Rowden during his service in the ''WG's'', serving from 1973 to 79. Rowden did mention he used this bayonet whilst guarding Buckingham Palace stating the heavy application of paint was by order using modelling paint supplied. Condition is very good.

Rowden mentioned that he kept the dagger hid behind his ammo pouches whilst using 58 pattern webbing due to regulations on wearing knives.
