The rough factory finish has seen a good amount of use with close to 90% remaining with the rest turning that dark, close to the paint, finish from age and patina. Complete period example with the green felt showing signs of use and storage over the years. The green leather trim is complete but split in certain areas. Both side badges are in very nice condition with nearly 100% finish. Leather chinstrap complete and well used. The inside leather sweatband is clean and supple and is stamped with the makers details and date.  read more
