Factory Denazified War Merit Cross with Swords, First Class. 57 Pattern.
Very nice cross with a good amount of its inner frosting and burnished highlights. The rear has its period hardware. The central swastika has been factory removed leaving a nice cross hatched pattern turning the medal into a 57 pattern. When i purchased someone had glued the swastika from a DAF stickpin badge to the front section trying to deceive and unsuspecting collector, i removed but some ... read more
ARP Bell, 1939.
Bell has a foundry date 39 and the brass shank is maker marked, wooden handle nice and complete with its top screw. At some point the bell has recived a fracture, perhaps one of the bombs that fell on Cardiff, an over enthusiastic ARP member or just plain dropped! Displays well. read more
WW2 German Map of Russia with Penciled Military Movement. Porchaw/Cholm.
Nice two piece map stuck together to form a large map in Russia with main interest in the city of Porchaw with penciled front line and military movements. Condition is very good. WW2 German Wehrpass.
Book is complete and there is a clear photo of the owner to the inside. He didn't do much, perhaps too old or reserve occupation. Found inside was a large document named to the guy and dated 1937. read more
Nowill & Sons Post War Commando Dagger.
Dagger is in nice condition with the blade being stained with slight sharpening and still retaining a faint amount of its factory grain. The handle has a very good amount of its black finish and a clear Nowill trade mark to the bottom. Top nut is secure and tight. The leather scabbard is nice and supple with the owners name scratched to the front ''Tony'' with ''RE-1945'' underneath.

Panzer Assault Badge. Frank Reif.
An unmarked example thats in very nice condition with sharp detail and period fittings to the rear. Going by the hardware and details to the strike this medal was produced by the firm Frank Reif. With these late war examples the finish tends to be ''sucked up'' by the metal , this one being purchased many years ago as a bronze piece by the vendor. I myself tend to think silver but there you are... read more
