1913 Pattern Bayonet, 1916 Dated, with 1914 Pattern Leather Frog.
Here we have a very nice untouched example still held in its period 14 pattern frog. The blade has close to all its period factory finish and its factory edge. Named LDV Armband, Glamorgan County Police, Gorseinon, Swansea.
These three armbands where found many years ago during a house clearance in the Swansea area. They are all in very nice condition with the LVD example not only having the owners name and details penned to the rear but also a local police issue stamp. WW2 RAF Warrant Officers Beret.
Ok, so we have a well used,a certain amount of moth damage, multi panel construction WW2 pattern beret. Inside does have some faint ink stamps and i have found one example with the exact markings including marker, Compton, that is dated 1943. British Clasp Knife with Marlin Spike and Tin Opener.
Designated as Pattern 6353/1905 this undated, G.Butler produced, example is in good used condition. The blade has minimal sharpening to the cutting edge and a certain amount of patina. Spring is slightly loose so blade will move when fully extended to a certain degree. Marlin spike and can opener are a lot tighter.
