A very nice used example with the blade having staining and slight minimal surface pitting , hard to make out, one side has a clear ''W'' stamp. The cross guard is straight and suffers some surface rust, Wooden handle has no chips or cracks just some staining with all three rivets intact. Complete leather sling made by the firm Boyt and dated 1942. The leather is supple with tight stitching, one steel end fitting the other being a black coated brass example. Couple of surface cracks to the leather only! Might well have had some dubbing applied at some point.  read more

The Anchor etched blade is very clean without pitting and staining, etch panels are sharp with nice grey finish background, tip ends in its fine factory tip, clear makers stamp to one side.
