WW2 Iron Cross, 1st Class. L/11 , Deumer.
L/11 marked example with plenty of patina, came from the same source as the 2nd class previously listed underneath. Iron core has nearly all its black factory finish, slight brush will clean this up a treat. The rear has its period fittings, slight knock to the top of the frame has just split the seam. L/11 is the number mark for the firm Wilhelm Deumer of Ludenscheid, the mark can just be made out under the bottom catch.
Third Reich Luftwaffe Court Mounted Pair, Long Ser
A very nice condition Luftwaffe court mounted pair of medals, the long service medal has most of its original finish and an original eagle to the ribbon, the Sudatenland medal is in perfect condition. The rear has moth damage to the red felt only with no moth nips to the rear of the ribbons.
RAF Suede ''Mosquito'' Flying Boots.
A size 9 example of the green suede flying boots known by the name Mosquito, used in hot climates by ground and air crew as they were very comfortable, they have a cloth tie to the top to protect against insects. The condition is very good, they have been worn but as seen from the pictures not that often. The inside has clear WD stamp and size marking with an Air Ministry crown. The leather soles are also stamped with a size 9.
Brass ME 110 Aircraft Model.
A very nice and detailed model made of brass to represent the German ME110. Model measures just under 8 inches from tip to tail and is mounted on a wooden plinth. The gent who brought this into my shop stated his father made this and others at the begging of WW2 , he was an AA gunnery instructor in South Wales area and had no ID models at hand.
