Late War Prussian Painted Belt Buckle and 1917 Da
Steel buckle has over 90% of its original factory finish with no dents or knocks, the rear has both its fixing prongs and catch. The belt is in supple condition with a clear amkers and date stamp, 1917. It also has a very clear BAXIV stores stamping above the date. Its was originally stamped for a size 102 but has a number 86 scratched near it for some reason, this cannot have been period shortened as the 102 mark would have been cut off? A very nice complete set.

Buckle is in very nice condition having no damage to the nickle centre with Bavarian crest, rear has both its fixing prongs and catch. The leather belt is in supple condition with a very a clear Berlin makers mark and dated 1913, its size stamped 100. A nice complete set.
WW1 German M18 Camo Helmet.
A very nice example of quite a rare camo M18 German helmet finished in a typical paint scheme. The camo finish rates at well over 95% intact with three diffrent colours applied, green, dark brown and and ocher .This typical pattern differs only from not having the black lines added, making the pattern less distinctive. The inside has its three white leather pads intact with all pillows, there is slight damage to one pad on the outside and two fingers reinforced by leather at some point, all liner end holes have been reinforced, only two have actually gone thru. The three pads are securely held to the side by the tight metal liner band. All three liner pins are tight and have not been tanpered with. The boot lace was there when i found the helmet and can be removed if you wish. The shell is stamped to the side BF64 and has numeous numbers stamped to the inside crown. Paint rates at over 75% of its original factory finish. The remains of the carbine clip end can be found still attatched to one bale. A sweet and rare lid.
Imperial German Vetrans Painted Tobacco Pipe.
Good solid 1911/1913 dated pipe to a German vetran. The china bowl is decorated with the life of a soldier, with wife, cavalry, artilley, drinking etc. I belive the art work is a transfer then the uniforms and highlights are hand painted., Top metal pipe lid is working but has some corrosion. The wooden stem is 29 inches long, has horn fittings to the top, no damage. A good example.
Heer Soldbuch and Cover, 342 Infantry Division. EK
This set is in very nice condition with a clear photo to the front and the same shot found loose in the back of the book. Gorgen was part of the 342 Division. This Division was formed in Koblenz, same area stamp found on the back of the loose photo. In 1941 this division had occupation duty in France then in June 41 it took part in anti partisan activity in Yugoslavia/Croatia, Feb 42 the Division was part of Army group centre fighting in Russia were it was nearly destroyed fighting on the Vistula front, ending activity with the 4th Panzer Army at Cottbus and the Halbe pocket May 45. It would appear Gorgen recived a number of wounds including shrapnel and freezing related in 45. Both medals awarded during his service in Russia. The book has plenty of detail to go thru with may i add two pages missing but these relate to ''recording valuables when in hospital, page 15 and recording dental history, page 16. The red leatherette cover is in very nice condition.
