KIA RAF Wireless Operator-Gunner Log Book and Medal Grouping. Lost 1940.

Nice grouping to a SGT R.C.Bishop from Haverfordwest, mid Wales, who was lost when his Wellington bomber failed to return from an operation on the 23/11/1940. Grouping consisting of his log book, 16 completed operations with 214 Squadron, last page with hand written " Death Presumed 24.11.40". Iraqi Chocolate Chip Uniform Jacket.

One of the many variations of "Choc Chip" camouflage patterns used by Iraqi forces during the wars in the Middle East, especially during both Gulf Wars. Condition is very nice with bright colours and little wear, might even be unissued.  read more
