1939 Dated MK2 Army Helmet with Rough Brown Finish.
A very nice early combat helmet with close to 100% of its period brown rough finish to the outside, no dents or knocks. The inside has its period early 1939 liner with round top pad, its complete and supple. The inside crown area under the liner has an earlier light smooth brown finish, cannot find any markings to the helmet. Comes with its period later war chinstrap. A very nice example with the tight two piece frame having some dark patches from patina, a very nice core with 100% of its factory finish and a very nice length of period ribbon. The ring is stamped 3 for the Deumer firm. read more
