The only markings to be found are the size 7 in Roman numerals stamped to the inner leather soles. As for condition they are well used, a bit dry and in need of a good polish with the bottoms having been resoled at some point, the original marked ''commando'' soles can be seen underneath. They will also need a good airing as they have been kept in a garage for some time! read more

A 1941 dated New Zealand manufactured 37 pattern BD used by an officer, Albert Lawrence Field, who was part of 30 Corps Signals. The BD is in nice condition, its been used in the field, some grime to the collar area. Material has good nap with just a couple of tiny moth nips, hardly noticeable to the front. Small grouping that belonged to a veteran who served in the Welsh Guards during WW2. There are four titles, all different but the bottom two i would say are worn as a pair, uniform removed.
