A very nice helmet that at one point has had a number of coats of paint including reissued to the Norwegian army. The large sized shell is solid with no pitting , stress fractures or ''dinks''. Inner liner is a WW2 example, dyed during its reissue, clean, solid and supple. The chinstrap is a reproduction. Perfect restoration piece or leave ''as is''.  read more

A nice used example with the blade blade having some minor pitting, its been cleaned at some point over the years, length of blade is around 7 inches. Spring is tight. One side has a nice obscure makers mark for W.S.Mundy. The grip has survived without any cracks or chips, just a couple of the carved diamonds missing to the pattern. Nice clean medal pair to a lance corporal A.B.Smith, service number 25055, who was killed December 1st, 1917 , during the action by the 2nd battalion in capturing Gauche Wood during the Cambrai offensive. Condition is very clean.
May i add in one photo the number looks like 26055, this is just a heavy strike misshaping the number 5, the War medal is clear and crisp!!  read more
