Would appear to be an untouched example with the blade with some factory finish to the tang areas, tip is sound. The actual bayonet is the cleanest ive had for some time, blade has close to all its factory finish, the tip area has lost some from going in and out of the scabbard, tip is fine. Both side's of the tang are marked, ''41asw'' and ''9543'' over a ''d''. The hilt again in very fine condition with the fixing button and top pommel being waffen stamped. Still held in a tailors box is this SD uniform thats named and dated 46, the condition of both items is very good. Nice uniform set to a British officer serving in the Indian Medical Corp. Jacket has that early pattern cut with large bellowed pockets, all IMC marked buttons present as are his rank pip and crown to both shoulder boards, belt present, inside lining has a certain amount of distress from use. British MKIII Combat Helmet. 1945 Dated.
In very nice condition with the shell free of any dents, its recived a second coat of green paint, the factory colour can be seen to the inside. The liner is a nice clean example being supple and with its tie, it has clear makers details and 1945 date to one of the liner arms. Chinstrap again complete and clean. read more
Victorian Buff Leather Swivel Carbine Belt.
Considering its age this example is in very nice condition with only one small cut to the buff leather to the back, leather is still supple and strong but does appear in distressed condition due to the years of white blanko/ paint applied. Introduced in 1942 with breast pocket pleats removed and bottom bellow pockets removed, this example is in nice condition with just one or two tiny moth nips only.
