Having taken the photo out of its frame i found the soldiers details written on the back by a family member. The photo has some great details including his Boer War medals. This item recently surfaced in the Newport area during a house clearance, i would like to send it out as i found it as it was still a cherished family item until recently. read more

WW2 British Escape Compass.
Compass diameter measures just over half inch with a minor crack to the beveled top glass. The inner dial has black finish with three luminous dots and a red pointer, moves freely. read more
Hitler Youth Event Badge/Tinnie. Fest der Jugend,1933..
Rare HJ event badge dated 1933. Condition is good with over 80% of its gold finish intact with just a minimal amount of bleed. The rear has its period fixing pin. read more
WW2 British Dog Tags and Crucifix.
Not sure who McCaffrey was but perhaps he took some solace from having this hand made brass crucifix around his neck. A nice emotive piece of personal personal kit. read more
WW2 Silver Bullet Cigar Piercer. Hallmark date 1939.
A very nice and interesting silver cigar piercer in the shape of a bullet. The hallmark dates this piece too 1939 with makers marks for E.Baker and Son of Agusta street, Birmingham, known for making fine quality smoking accessories. WW2 German Beer Hall Putsch Feldherrnhalle Memorial Glass WHW Donation Badge.
A very nice glass series WHW event badge showing the memorial that was initially set up at the side of the Feldherrnhalle in Munich to celebrate the fallen of the Putsch. Condition is very nice and with such detail where the names of the fallen can be made out. Hanging string has gone. read more

These two example never had a pin to fasten but instead had a thin string to be tied onto the clothing. The condition is very good with a certain amount of its period finish remaining and full details to the rear. read more

Unopened British Military Emergency Ration Tin.
As mentioned in the title this tin has never been opened with the tin in very nice condition and all instruction front stamps clear. Faint date stamp to the front bottom which i believe dates this example to the 1950's. read more
