Sweet RFC souvenir made from what might be aircraft scrap, cut and and some filling into the shape of an RFC member wearing the maternity jacket, with a French made clock barometer. No numbers or stamps found to the body rear and surprisingly the barometer fits in perfectly. All this then mounted on a wooden base. Barometer glass has a crack!  read more

From what i can gather, FFoulkes signed his Apprentice Indenture with the Atlantic Shipping and Trading Company Ltd in 1940 serving on his first ship SS.Hadleigh. FFoulkes was on board the Hadleigh , part of convoy ET-14, when it was torpedoed and sunk with the loss of two crewmen by ...  read more

One receiver cup has lost its stitching holding to the body with its bottom slightly pocking out from the inside ring padding, other than that its complete with some slight staining.
